June 30 Flowers in my yard

Wednesday:  Mid-evening I decided to take a few snapshots of the daisies that had bloomed in the last few days in my front yard, as well as a few other random shots. Here they are:

Flowers get right down into my soul--I just LOVE them. I hope I get to live in a field of wild flowers in His kingdom some day ...

June 29 A birthday card Kaity

Wednesday:  Here is the card I made for my Kaity-Girl.

June 29 Kaity is NINE today!

Tuesday Evening:  I dropped off Aidan and Erin and made a dash over to Jesse's for a small birthday party for Kaity. She'd had a BIG party on the 19th over at her mom's, so we just kept this a tiny celebration. Emma took the day off work so that she could be here when Kaity was dropped off by Diana at 6PM.

We decided that Kaity should open gifts and THEN we would have her birthday cake. Emma had the table decorated for the event--nice job, Emma.
Kaity started by opening the gifts from Emma which were wrapped in a pretty green paper. Green is Kaity's favorite color.

Emma got Kaity a very very cool Rubic's with the squares designed by their favorite Youtube artist ME (Moriah Elizabeth, I think). Kaity was SO pleased.
Here is Kaity reading Emma's card ...
Inside this tiny box is a pair of lady bug earrings--made from wood--ordered especially to go with the swimsuit (which I forget to photograph) and both will remind Kaity of a program she and Emma watch together.
Emma also got Kaity a book, one of Kaity's favorite series Good job, Emma, on the gifts and the wrapping ... and everything!

I was excited to see Kaity's expression when she opened up this present from Jesse. Watch her ...

This is a Kaydora "reborn" baby doll--doesn't she look SO real? Kaity LOVES LOVES LOVES baby dolls.
Kaity has a LOT of "mothering" in her ...

There was a mix-up in what I had ordered Kaity and it looked like one of the items was NEVER going to arrive, so I ordered some little baby doll clothes for her new baby doll instead.

I think there were about eight little baby dresses included, along with some baby bonnets and booties.
I also got Kaity a Kindel--it was on special sale!
And then the item I had given up ever receiving in my lifetimed arrived a few days ago ... out of the blue!
This is "Snowball" from the Pets movies ... "I feel heroic ... and handsome!" "The Revolution has begun! Liberated forever! Domesticated NEVER!"
Kaity loves Snowball.

We unwrapped all of the baby doll clothes. She also came with a very nice bottle, a magnetic "nucker" and a stuffed baby chick.

I love these pictures of Kaity.

Emma helped get all of the new toys organized in Kaity's room.

And she played with Snowball for awhile, trying to get his ears to stand up.

THEN we ate our birthday cake ...

We also played a few rounds of "Go Fish" and at least one game of "Liar, Liar" before I finally left a little after 9PM.

Happy Birthday, dear Kaitlynn! Love you so much.

PS   This is BELLE, Emma's cat. She got chummy with me for the very first time today! She even sat on my lap and deep purred! Yes!
