A First Anniversary is Very Special

July 22, 2006

It's been one year now since
ADAM & EMILY
got married at
The Pinnacle
Emily was a beautiful bride ...
and every single picture of her is prettier than the one before!
See what I mean?

The very handsome groom ...

Adam and Emily chose Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 as their wedding passage.
Here is what it says:

Two people can accomplish almost twice as much as one;
they get a better return for their labor.
If one person falls,
the other can reach out and help.
But people who are alone when they fall
are in real trouble.
And on a cold night, two people under the same blanket
can gain warmth from each other.
But how can one be warm alone?
A person standing alone
can be attacked and defeated,
but two can stand back-to-back and conquer.
THREE ARE EVEN BETTER,
for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

How sweet is your love, my treasure, my bride!
How much better than wine!
You are like a private garden ...
You are like a spring that no one else can drink from,
a fountain of my own.
SONG OF SONGS 4:10 & 12 Pastor Doug spoke about that "triple-braided cord"
being Adam, Emily and the Lord God Himself ...
how strong any marriage is where
Jesus rules and reigns
is loved and adored,
obeyed and worshiped!

And so that is our prayer for you both ...

CONGRATULATIONS, ADAM & EMILY!
