I have driven past this Memorial Park on the corner of Jupiter and Post for years without stopping to check it out. So on the way home from church this morning, I decided to get a closer look ...

I was thinking that since Jesse lived just a mile or so from this spot for quite a few years (before he was married), this memorial is partly for him and for his family far away in El Paso. I'm glad it's so close by and I'm thankful I got a chance to spend some time there today, remembering the huge cost of FREEDOM and the lives of those who protect our nation. Thank you to all of you.
