I'm home after spending EIGHT busy and happy days in El Paso with Jesse and Diana and the children. I think this was my best visit ever. Sixteen hundred miles is SUCH a long distance and sometimes finances make it difficult to travel. But family is important! I very badly want to have a relationship with my grandchildren and make lasting memories with them ... so I've been trying to see them every three months. They are growing up so fast! Emma is 8-1/2, Christopher is 7 and Matthew will be 6 in just a few weeks.
I arrived in the late afternoon last Wednesday and was able to stay until just after lunch THIS Wednesday, so it was my longest visit ever. The children were in the middle of their spring break last week, so we had all day Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to be together ~ and then back to school on Monday. But I got to visit them at school too and I had so much fun. I've just started looking through all of the pictures I took and I'm not very organized tonight ... but I promise I will post more photos soon and try to tell you a little bit about the joy-filled week we had together.
