A few random shots ...

It's a little difficult for me to describe these pictures exactly ... I think these first few of Brendan are from LAST Thursday night when he came over to the Beach House to play. I was so tired that I barely remembered I HAD a camera until the very last minute ...
I asked Brendan to tell me a story with our Story Cubes. His was something about aliens in outer space and somehow Jesus ended up being in the story out in outer space too ...
I told him he was a silly rabbit ...
The other kiddos came over Saturday, as usual, and we didn't go anywhere at all! We just stayed here and enjoyed some calm and relaxing moments together.
These guys still really enjoy my art supplies ... some of which I have had for 15 years (the stencils and scissors). Matthew was "making a book" and Kaity found joy in sharpening all of my colored pencils.

Emma spent the night after we took the other kiddos home. We watched "Grease" on Amazon and decided it was one of the stupidest movies we had ever seen! Some of it was funny, but mostly it was just so-so. We went to church and LOGOS on Sunday, enjoyed our lunch together, spray painted my new address numbers and just hung out together in the early afternoon.
I snapped this picture off of 7 Mile (I think) after taking the long way home Sunday evening. I love the reflection, don't you?

These two cousins at Deer Track ...

Brendan was thrown in jail because he STOLE my horses! And Kaity was an accomplice ... so both of them were locked up. Brendan wasn't too sure about this whole thing ...

 But Kaity was pretty unphased!
 The goats!
Brendan nearly flipped out at the five-day-old bunny babies.
 So precious.

 Aren't these darling pictures?

The kids are checking out "Cutie" a GY-normous rabbit in the cage below ...

These two played together so well Monday. They are becoming friends, and that makes my heart smile.
Tunnels are everywhere here. Brendan was pretty enthralled.
 Up, up, up!

 Down, down, down!

This little donkey watched as we ate our snacks over at the picnic tables ...

And then Kaity and Brendan explored the outside playground for a long while!

Kaity (below) yelling at her horse to get going!
We had to go back inside to use the restrooms, so afterwards, Kaity decided to re-visit the jail. We locked her up and even put a chair in front of the bars ... but wait -- Brendan broke Kaity out of jail!!!

These two played a rather haphazard game of checkers. Neither one of them know the rules or abide by the few that they DO know ...

It was a friendly little exchange of moves before they decided to build a tower with the pieces.

Some of the stuffed trophy animals inside the trading post ...

Brendan (naturally) loved the train that he could climb all over ...

This is a great place to take active children. Kids can play "outside" of the fenced in area for free. Flashlights are a real plus to help maneuver through the underground tunnels. I am so thankful these guys had such a bunch of fun together today.
