Some quick pictures ...

We were all invited to attend the wedding and reception of a good friend yesterday afternoon. The wedding ceremony took place out at a chapel on the grounds of Grand Valley State University, where the bride graduated from college. I love clock towers ... hence the above picture.
Here is Karis Danielle in her typical "fairy" fashion, dancing in the sunlight, delighting in the love of life ...
I like this photo of Jackson and his Grandpa Jones ...
These little two wiggle worms hopped, skipped and jumped all over the place until we went inside for the wedding where thankfully ... child care was provided ... and we adult folk witnessed and enjoyed the most beautiful wedding! The bride and groom ~ Kara and Bryan ... Sabrina and Kara have been friends since they were little kids actually. Nana and Roy (not pictured) were at the wedding too ... Roy is Kara's great uncle, and since I am now Roy's daughter, I am obscurely related to Kara's family ... but that is a very long story.

Since I am really lacking any good pictures of Andrew and Sabrina, as a couple, I asked them to pose nicely for a picture ...
And guess who got to visit my 3-year-old class this morning at church?!! It was SO fun having Karis be my helper this morning!
After naptime today, we had a backyard beach time with all of the water toys ...
It was perfect weather for some fun in the sun ...
The little kids enjoyed the hottub much more than the freezing cold wading pool ... they are little fish ... very good little swimmers!
We have one of those tiny wind-up fish that wiggles its tail and swims through the water. Karis decided to eat it ... and since we laughed because it looked so hilarious wiggling in her mouth, she continued to amuse us this way until we told her the fish would drown if she didn't spit it out!
Olivia is making really good progress on the lighthouse puzzle. She is amazingly patient and tenacious. I think she will have it finished before she has to go back to Texas.

And it was so fun when Emily arrived later in the afternoon to hang out with us! Look at her baby boy! When we last saw Emily in early April, there was NO evidence of baby ... but now there is no mistaking he is well on his way! We are all going to the baby shower her family is giving her this coming Saturday.

That's all for tonight ... more pictures later!
