Look how Jeremiah has grown!

Jeremiah is our only grandbaby who does not live in the state of Texas. He lives in kind of the opposite direction ... so when we take our Texas trips, it's kind of hard to include seeing him! We had planned to make a separate Minnesota trip in April, but then got word that they were coming our way for Easter and for Emily's birthday.
They drove up to our place just before 4:00 this afternoon and could only stay for just a bit. Adam had driven Emily and Jeremiah over to Michigan but since he has to work all next week, he had to fly back to Minneapolis tonight, leaving Emily and Jeremiah with their vehicle. He's going to fly back next weekend to drive everyone back home to Minneapolis. How's that for a loving husband?
Grandpa Jones was SO anxious to hold this little cutie. You have to understand that Grandpa Jones has quite the reputation at church. He is known as the "baby charmer." Babies absolutely LOVE him in our nursery ... and he adores them right back. So you can imagine his shock when this happened ...
Poor Jeremiah had been woken from a brief nap, brought into our strange house, and handed to an even stranger (!) man ... and he didn't like it ... not one little bit!
He calmed down after he was handed back to the proper folk who take care of him on a daily basis.
Look how he has grown since Christmas! He is a little chunk! Emily and Jeremiah went on down the road to her folks' house, and we drove Adam to the airport so that we could take advantage of the brief hour he was in town and see him just a little bit. We plan to see Emily and Jeremiah throughout the week. Nick and Rachel and kiddos are due in town too ... should be quite fun at our house over the next few days. I'll post more pictures as I am able.
