Wednesday, April 3: Usually, Wednesdays are Brendan days. But since it is spring break, I had both boys for a little while. It's getting a bit easier to have the two of them together. With the five-year span in ages, sometimes it is difficult to tend to both of them adequately. Both are used to 1-on-1 stuff with their grandma, and a 2-year-old and a 7-year-old play quite differently ... so we had to modify our activities a little bit and we did just fine.
A built a little track up on the window sill because I knew Aidan Paul would be all over it. He was! He stood and played by the window for a very long time. The sun coming in was so wonderful for taking his picture too.
Aidan is the dearest little soul ...
Brendan built some track down on the floor. He always knows exactly what he wants to do with his design ...
Thankfully, Aidan no longer wrecks the whole thing!
Aidan likes to climb up on my bed and get himself tucked in (briefly) and rough-house a little bit.
He is very ticklish and his little laugh is the sweetest in the world.
We had a nice big dinner, but Brendan decided to add to his by having THREE big bowls of Cinnamon Toast Crunch for desert!
He was quite intense about it too!
Dear Aidan LOVES to play with this tool cart SO much. I've had it now for nearly 17 years! All of the grandkiddos have played with it. It was definitely worth the $49 I paid for it all those years ago, just before Emma was born.
Look at Aidan's dear face. Isn't he the cutest little child you've ever laid eyes on? I KNEW you would agree!
