August 15 Beautiful place ...

Sunday Evening (cont.):  Here are a few more pictures from our time at Muskegon State Park.

The dunes here are collapsing from all of the high water and storms--significant erosion--so evidently these rocks have been "dumped" to help strengthen the shore a bit. I hope it works because ... it's ODD to see rocks here when the lake is so sandy at this point.
