MONday: I got to spend a little one-on-one with Brendan early afternoon before I picked up the little kids from their day camp. I brought the JENGA blocks with me so we could challenge each other to a game or two. Brendan won ONE game and I won the other.

After I picked up the littles and we had our snacks together, Cal talked me into going outside to blast off our stomp rockets for a little while. It's been uncomfortably HOT in W. Michigan this week--so we really only played outside for about a half hour--but we had a lot of fun. Cal just loves these rockets.
His anticipation kills me ... he loves to see them zoom through the air; and he always has a contest with himself to see which rocket went the farthest. You are a joy, little Cal!
