TUEsday: I picked "the littles" up from their day camp and since it was about 105 degrees in the shade and they were sweating buckets, I took them to Wendy's for an ice cold Frosty. To everyone's delight, they had a brand new kind of Frosty that blends more than one flavor of ice cream and syrup, etc. All three kiddos ordered the exact same kind!
When we got back to their house, Cal and I played with the stomp rockets some more -- all INSIDE the house because it was just too hot to even think about playing outside. We had a very fun time shooting our rockets! Here is one picture of what I worked on today while the kiddos were all at day camps. I did not take a before and after picture. I realize that CRATES are not actually a beautiful piece of furniture. They are totally undecorative! But at $6/piece, they can be a fairly inexpensive and temporary solution to an overcrowded book shelf (the one that I did not photograph). That bookshelf is still there--it's just on the other side of the wall to the right of this crate shelf, and it still has books on it; except 90% of the books on that shelf are Dylan and Kelly's books and instead of being crowded and falling off that shelf, they fit much better.
This crate book shelf has all of the children's books and even some of their board games. I deemed crates were better than having books all over the floor with absolutely no organization to them whatsoever. As I was working on this little project today, I was happy from head to toe! I love organization!
