Ever cautious Mr. Aidan

Monday, October 14:  I brought Aidan over today (as usual) and wondered how he would feel about Matey being out and about.
We had set up our layout (always the first thing we do) and Aidan was over at the bird cage yucking it up with Matey. I opened up his little door and coaxed him out to the table top. Aidan was intrigued. He climbed on my finger and hopped around the table for awhile, but then I brought him down to the floor to play trains with us.
That was were intrigue ended and the caution flag was waved. No way, Jose. Aidan was not about to crawl around the floor with a loose bird. Uh-Uh. Aidan stood off to the side and watched, very hesitant to come near.
Matey checked things out for awhile--I thought he might actually crawl through this tunnel, but he went around instead.
Mr. Aidan observed, most certainly UNenthused about this event ... and actually DISpleased. He finally looked at me and in his sweet little voice said, "Put him back in his house, Gamma Carol?"
Sigh. Anything for you, dearest Aidan child. You are so precious. Once Aidan was secured in his cage, Aidan went back to playing with 100% happiness.

You are the sweetest little boy, Aidan Paul. "Gamma Carol" would do anything for you.
