January 2

When I saw Kaity last week, she requested that we go downtown on Thursday and revisit the Children's Museum--"just in case they had any new stuff down there." So I picked her up early and we spent almost two hours playing, along with every other child in Kent County (or so it seemed).
The dinosaur exhibit and play areas were still there. We didn't play very long in these areas because Kaity was pretty intent on finding something she hadn't already done.
It didn't take us too long before we came upon a fire fighter and emergency vehicle play place. Kaity was very into this!

She decided to get all geared up for her first day on the job as a girl fire fighter.

I love to watch Kaity pretend. She is very imaginative and playful. I love this about her.

 Isn't she a riot?

She did EVERYTHING she could possibly do in this area ...
... along with hooking up all of the hoses ... she is amazingly hard working when she wants to be.

 Look how intense she is!
We also played for quite a long time at their super cool train table. Kaity is a good builder and has a mechanical mind.

These were very cool "blocks" to play with. We've seen them here before, but I think this is the first time Kaity stopped to play here. She really enjoyed it.

We had to walk through the Veteran's War Memorial to get back to our car. Kaity posed nicely for a few pictures. She is such a spunky little kid! Look at her expressions!

When we got back to my house, we put together a 100-piece puzzle of three piglets. We played a lot with Matey too. Since Kaity brought Baby Lily along (with her brand new high chair), we all ate together and then made some play-doh food for Lily to enjoy.

Kaity had a lot of laughter in her today. I kept telling her that she had swallowed a "giggle pill" but she denied it. I love you so much, Kaity.
