Sunday Afternoon: I was invited to watch Aidan and Erin play flag football with their "Bengels" team this afternoon at 4:00. It was very fun to watch! Look at these guys ...
All three of the boys got haircuts yesterday since Summer is fast approaching and short hair will be more comfortable. Here's Cal with his football, all ready to pass, catch, and run touchdowns. Never mind that he is still too young to play flag football. He came ready and prepared.

Erin isn't extremely enthusiastic about actually PLAYING flag football; but she is very pleased to wear her jersey and run around the field when called upon. She is hilarious.

Her folks reminded her which side of the field she needed to occupy, and then she got a little more energy to play.
I've never seen flag football before. This was a scream to watch. There were some extra-athletic kids out there running and maneuvering to the goal; but most were kind of a mad scramble just to grab someone's flag. It was very fun to watch.
There was one hour of play. I am uncertain what the final score was. Aidan said he felt their team won 2 goals to 1! He was good with that!
