October 5 at Jesse's for the game

Sunday afternoon:  I invited myself once again over to Jesse's to watch the Lion's game this afternoon. And I was mistaken about the size of his big-screen--it is NOT 56", it is 66". It's pretty amazing to watch the game on a nice screen like this. Matt was over too, which made it extra nice. The Lions' game didn't start until 4:25 today. Jesse and Matt had already watched quite a few games that were booked at 1:00. Jesse has a split-screen deal that enables them to watch FOUR games simultaneously! And so ... they DID! Somehow, they were able to keep track of all the games, players, stats, etc. which I think is rather remarkable. I am really only interested in the Lions! I pick up little bits of information about the other teams as we play them; but I don't keep a very good record of those teams in my brain. I just like watching the Lions play--at least, now that they are a decent team.

Since I do not pay the actual monthly $$ to see the games, I decided that each week I should at least bring an "entrance gift" over to Jesse! Today, I brought some pizza and breadsticks, figuring Matt could eat some too. Kaity was at her mom's this weekend, so I didn't get to see her today.

In the next coming weeks of games, I will try to get pictures other than Jesse and Matt reclining in comfort checking out other scores on their phones as we watch the game. But then again, I don't want to make them uncomfortable with me having a camera in their faces constantly either.

The final score of the game was: LIONS--37  BENGALS--24. It was a good game! It looked like it would be an almost blow-out during the first half, but then the Bengals woke up a bit and had some lucky breaks to give them the points they ended up with. It was a fun game to watch, with lots of action and good commentary from Jesse and Matt!
