WEDNESDAY EVENING: I picked David up at the airport at 10:35 this evening. His flights were safe and on time! We have BIG plans for the next few days:
THURSDAY will be a work day at my house. I have a "honey-do" list to give to David. I never ever had any "honey-do" lists for either of my husbands because the first one was unable and the second one was unwilling. But that is water under the bridge! David is an "as you wish" sort of person -- although he denies this vehemently!
The list:
--Power wash the Beach House and driveway
--Repair front screen door weather panel
--Clean out gutter on car port
--Install magnetic stopper on bathroom door (bathroom #1), and figure out why bathroom door (#2) keeps jamming.
--See if clogged bird feeder can be cleaned and made usable
Sometime during the weekend:
--Play a Pachesi tournament!!
--Serenade homeowner (me) with beautiful piano melodies
FRIDAY: Leave on our trip North and visit Mackinac Island
SATURDAY: Travel to the U.P. and do stuff up there (undecided as yet). Back to Belmont late evening.
SUNDAY: Meet Emma at church. Grand Haven later in the day
MONDAY: Finish up all unfinished work items, relax, and try not to think about taking David to the airport later in the afternoon ...
P.S. Some plans changed because the weather messed with us; but all was well! We had a great few days!
