Saturday afternoon: We had so much fun this afternoon at Brendan's birthday party! Many of his friends came over (with their siblings), so the house was pretty packed!
Look at Brendan's beautiful face. I've always said that this boy smiles with his soul ... he does!
And LOOK at THIS little happy face! Aidan Paul! His birthday is only five weeks away!
This series of pictures are of Brendan opening presents. I loved how his friends wrapped their gifts to him. Many of them made their own cards as well. Good job!
Erin was REALLY into the party--especially the gift part.
It was a little "tricky" getting a good picture of Brendan opening his gifts because ... it was rather crowded by Brendan.
Evidently this gift contained a Beyblade that was the THIRD identical Beyblade he had received for his birthday!
Brendan thought this was super funny!

This is a Cosco chocolate cream cake--it is amazingly delicious ... the kiddos could hardly wait for their pieces.
We all gathered around to sing "Happy Birthday" to Brendan. He did really well with this kind of attention (which is a little bit stressful for him).
He did a good job blowing out his candles ...
... and then everyone chowed down on cake! Erin and Aidan were covered with it, but were very agreeable to being cleaned up before running around the house.
And THEN the Beyblade competition began. It looked like a lot of fun--there was cheering and yelling and laughing ...
What a nice time for Brendan and his friends and families! How nice to be so loved!
