Monday: I took over 300 pictures out at Deer Tracks Junction today with Erin. Oh my! We had such a fun time! We arrived about 15 minutes after opening time. There was a LONG line at the ticket counter, but they opened a second one up and then things moved faster. We got our yellow bands on our wrists, walked over to the other shop and picked up our cup of carrots and 3 budgie sticks, and we were on our way!
Erin almost immediately saw the biggest of the play areas, which was on the way to the budgie pavilion, so we made a stop there for her to explore. Look at her happy little face!
Can you see Erin in the picture below? She is a very good climber and is not afraid of heights!I forget the baby camel's name ... but it is still bottle feeding and not ready yet for carrots.
When we walked into the budgie house, we were almost the only ones there! YAY! We had such a blast. Erin is not one bit shy of having birds all over her ... she is a natural with animals.
I love these photos SO MUCH ... what a darling little granddaughter you are, Erin!
These pictures really say everything that needs to be said ...
We fed the budgies for 30 solid minutes. More people did come in to the pavilion as well, and it was fun to watch them too.
I'm not sure any of the other visitors had more fun that Erin!
