May 28 Dylan's Birthday

Wednesday:  Happy Birthday to my son, Dylan. My youngest son is 41 today. I made him a special card, AND I am meeting him downtown today to take him out to lunch. Dylan chose to direct us to Taco Barrocho over on Michigan, near Diamond (I think).

The food was very delicious and we enjoyed a nice solid hour of uninterrupted conversation. A real gift! Dylan told me a little bit more of the vision he has for creating an organization similar to where he works now, only the emphasis and sponsorship would be completely Orthodox. I was interested to hear more about this possible pathway for him and very thankful that he was so encouraged about this possibility.

I'll post the birthday card I made for him:

Dylan's studies were completed this year and he has earned a doctorate in Orthodox theology with a book due to be released in the fall of this year. He and Kelly are traveling to the UK in mid-July for him to receive his diploma (if that's what a PhD gives you). Anyway, to say that I am proud of him and all of his hard work is really quite inadequate--and who cares whether or not I am proud of him anyway? It's the Lord who matters first of all ALWAYS.

I am praying that the Lord will bless your life especially much this year, for His honor and His glory. Love you so much.
