Thursday: I forgot to post about our ladies brunch on Thursday! I have been attending the GIR Sunday school class at Calvary since about March. There are a few people that I know within the class and are current friends--but many others that I used to know in time's past from different groups I used to be a part of at Calvary. Anyway, a few of my friends encouraged me to sign up for the ladies brunch--so I did! I am so glad I went to this wonderful get-together. I think there were actually 25 ladies! We were invited to Mary's home--her husband, Bruce, is one of the teacher's of the class. They have a really nice home out on Lake Bella Vista.
I didn't take any pictures of the outside of the house OR the inside--I didn't want to be rude or overly assumptive ... some people are very private about their homes! But these few pictures were taken of the view they have every single day--it is essentially their back yard. Beautiful.
This is my good friend, Cheryl. We have known each other at least 15 years. Cheryl teaches full time, second grade students. I bet she is a wonderful teacher.

The food was delicious. The fellowship was wonderful. Mary loves GAMES; so we played three separate games--ones you have to write down your answers and then see how many you got correct. It was a lot of fun, and a good way to get to know each other better. We also had a time of prayer for each other that was very special. I am so glad I went to the brunch--I felt very welcomed!
