July 26 The rest of the day ...

Tuesday:  We arrived back at my house shortly before 1:00, ate our lunch--well, Erin and I ate lunch--Aidan drank Apple Juice and said he wasn't hungry. I am used to that with Aidan. He will eat when he is ready to eat and that's all there is to it!

We played for quite a long time with Playdoh today. It was so relaxing and fun to just sit around the table with fresh, soft Playdoh and chat with these two. They are something else.

We got out a bunch of our kitchen toys and made fake food with Playdoh ... and a bunch of other things as well.

The kids did a lot of building today as well. I moved around some of the toys on my shelves and they discovered things we hadn't played with in a very long time ...

We had a few snacks in between playing ... Erin had fun with her pretzels ... yikes!
We played with our sock puppets too. This is Erin playing with "Goldie." She really gets a bang out of puppets.

I hauled "Charlie" out of the closet and cautioned about his strings getting tangled up if handled too roughly ... Aidan and Erin did VERY well handling him today. And, of course, they were delighted with how funny he was.

I lost track of time and then it was too late to drive over to Altitude to jump today. The kiddos were very sad about it, so I comforted them with a handful of M & M's. Hey! It works for ME!

We didn't arrive back to their house until after 6:00. This little pistol was waiting for us. Gregory Callaghan is NOT a calm and quiet last-born child. He is completely hilarious and has a very decidedly STRONG personality--not to be at all bullied by his older siblings. We played with Cal for a little while, enjoyed Buddy's pizza (yum!) and had such a nice time together.

Dylan and Kelly are still looking for the RIGHT house for the RIGHT PRICE in the RIGHT LOCATION, and I am continuing to pray they will find one that is just RIGHT for their dear family.
