June 18, Erin's Party, Part 3

Party's Conclusion:  After lunch, the children went back to jumping. They were exhausted, but they kept right on playing as hard as ever. I love these pictures of the cousins ...

Here is Brendan after he once again bounced from the floor tramp up to the low wall. I congratulated him and snapped this picture. Isn't he such a beautiful boy?
Aidan was being roughed up a bit (in fun) but by accident, slid on his arms across one of the trampolines causing "rug burns" on both of his elbows and forearms. OUCH. He was not happy about it. I do not blame him. Here are his parents trying to comfort him.
Some of Erin's friends were getting ready to leave, so one by one, they had her open their gifts. Each of her friends had made their own cards for her! They were so sweet to look at.

Erin is in love with unicorns ...
Here is Erin opening Cecelia's gifts ...

Reading another card ... from her good friend at church.
Here is her friend explaining all of the drawings to Kelly and Erin ...

Aidan's facial expression (below) ... it's like ... "Who would want THESE girlie presents?!?!"
Look at these darling girls ... notice Aidan's face remains mystified ...

Saying good-by to Cecilia ...
Good-by to the priest's son (I cannot remember his name) ...
The party was now over. Such a NICE time! I had so much fun watching everyone's delight that my face hurt from the permanent smile that was on it for TWO hours! Ah ... such a good kind of ache--I'll take that kind any day.
