October 4 at Mill Creek

Sunday Afternoon/Evening:  Since we are trying to figure out a good location for a senior picture photo shoot, we decided to go back to Mill Creek in Comstock to check out a few places that might offer good backgrounds ...

It's beautiful back in the woods over here. This is a side of Mill Creek that I haven't checked out ever before ... it was an ADVENTURE!
We walked along the tracks for quite a long time ... not terribly comfortable to walk on with all of the ROCKS ...

We walked down a ravine next to the tracks to try to figure out where Mill Creek winds away to ...
We found this little wooly catepillar on our way down ... down ... DOWN ...

Emma, naturally, had an easier time bounding down the ravine than her OLD grannie ...

But isn't it pretty down here? (below)

I'm always glad to discover new "spots" for pictures. We don't think this is a suitable place for a photo shoot--however, there are many areas along the tracks that will be good places. We are only going to experiment--if the pictures I take don't turn out, Emma can ask anyone else she would like to take her senior pictures. I'm just a side-kick amateur hoping for a good shot or two ... we'll have to see!
