December 30 A Done Deal

Friday:  Trumpets! Cymbals! Drumroll ... 

Ruthanne and Terry closed the deal and are moving to Leisure Village, 1/2 mile from me in the north part of the park!!!! They came back to Grand Rapids today to give the owner the downpayment. Terry's brother, Ken, came along too--to further inspect the place. It's amazing to think of them moving here to Grand Rapids. What a blessing.

There is a lot of stuff that needs to happen before they fully move in ... like the sale of their home in Detroit and figuring out what to keep, what to sell, what to give away ... and what to pitch--all of which may take a few months. But since this house is empty, they can move in gradually. Terry is talking about adding a few walls outside in the carport (see above) to make a game room, where he can move in his very nice pool table.
