The BUDGIES!

Hmm ... what to do ... I have 150 pictures of Kaity and the Budgies. I love ALL of them! Here is just a sampling:

We were a tiny bit overwhelmed when we first stepped in to the enclosure. Kaity had ONE rather small feeding stick ... she was ATTACKED !!! by Budgies!

This little cutie-bird stood out among the crowd, though. He stuck to Kaity like glue and would not leave her.

Along with about a dozen others ...

Kaity is very kind and patient with animals. I love to watch her when she is around them. So much love spills out of her--it's a beautiful thing to behold.

There were often more than a dozen birds at a time on Kaity!

I told her she looked like the Bird Lady from "Home Alone 2" in this picture (below) ...

This is Kaity yucking it up with the birds. She kills me.

This facial expression!!!!

We figured this little love of a bird was rather young ... he was smaller than the rest, and very content to sit on Kaity's hand or finger. He even fell asleep for awhile--it was the cutest thing.

Kaity is telling little bird that she would take him home in a SECOND ... but she has three cats (at least) and an enormous dog where she lives.

Kaity got quite attached to our little friend. We so badly wanted to hide him under our sweatshirts and take him home ...
