DTJ Part Three

Many more pictures of this great place to play, wander, listen, enjoy ...

These larger birds are now in the former Budgie enclosure ... we weren't too keen on having them land on us--plus, we were out of bird food at this point; so we moved on.

In order to get to the "90-acre Wood", you have to pass by a really really GREAT gift shop. We washed up before entering, touched everything in the store and exited out to visit more animals ...
Out here in the 90-acre wood, you can see BEERS, deer, antelope, and other large animals.
This is a brand new boardwalk this year!
See the building (below) at the far left of the picture? That is a corn hilo, and that's where we are headed.

This CORN place is also new this year. The people who run DTJ sure know how to build and make a place fun to visit. The grounds are always clean! The staff is always kind and knowledgeable about the animals too.
We found this CORN silo a very fun place to play. It was completely comfortable. I could have taken a nap there! Why aren't mattresses made out of corn? It models to your body completely!

Looking up, this is what you saw ...

I bet this place is crazy with children on a nicer weather day. We couldn't complain one bit about the weather, even if it was a little bit chilly.

I LOVE these pictures of Kaity!

I actually have MORE to show you ...
