April 14 Dinner in St. Petersburg and then LIS!

Wednesday:  David worked a really BUSY day in the office--yikes--what an interesting few hours listening to him deal with clients and their stories ... my brother has a real gift with people, and God is blessing their business because of it! David treated me to some very HUGE and YUMMY grilled hotdogs for lunch.

When Carol came home from work, we headed over to St. Pete's to a little place called "The Hangar" at the airport to eat their $6 hamburger special--a real treat. Great hamburgers and sweet tea! Then we drove a little ways and found a lovely park where we walked along the water and marina ...

I love this picture of these two ...

And THEN, the frosting on the cake ... we got to drive over and see Elisabeth and Chris for an hour or so! I got to see their house and meet a few of their cats (they have FOUR) and just visit with them for awhile. Both Chris and Lis are lawyers. Chris does traffic court (and is in partnership with David) and Lis works for a firm--her specialty is taxes (bless her heart--I would rather die). Isn't she so darling?

What a nice picture of Carol and Elisabeth! You are a wonderful mom, Carol!
We didn't stay overly long with Chris and Elisabeth, but I am so thankful to have seen them and their little house, and have this opportunity to reconnect just a little bit.
