Nathan visits Thom's Railroad ...

Grandpa Jones has earned some "perks" from being the Chief Programmer (as in computers) of the Baltimore & Ohio Grafton Division model railroad (his friend Thom's layout). So when any of the grandchildren are in town, Grandpa gets to invite them to "play" trains for a little while ... and Monday night was Nathan's night!
Nathan was really really looking forward to seeing these trains! And this certainly makes our little Thomas the Train layout look pretty pathetic ...Nathan was shown the whole layout and watched trains coming and going, in and out of tunnels, around curves, lights working, horns sounding, signals flashing ... and then it was HIS turn to run a train!
The coveted remote was in his little hands and now it was HIS turn to make it happen! Now Nathan was in control of his train's speed, direction, lots of sound effects ... COOL!
The train Nathan is operating is actually behind him ... he is looking ahead to see what comes next ... where is his train going?
There is a tunnel coming up ... won't it be fun to see his train come out the other side?!!
The look on Nathan's face is pure ... DELIGHT!
Ah ... men and their remotes!
Many thanks to our friend, Thom, for his invitation to Nathan Paul. I love this little picture of Nathan ... it is like a complete CLONE of Nicolas at this age ... so cute!
