A wonderful evening out at Deer Tracks

September 30:  We decided for one last trip (at least I think it will be our last) out to Deer Tracks last Saturday. It was such a perfect night to go out there and just relax and enjoy everything out there.
I love some of these pictures of the kids so much.

They love it out here and play their hearts out. I love to see them this happy.

Kaity keeps right up with the other three, for the most part ... she's a pretty tough little kid.
Kaity even convinced me to slide down this tube. It was a lot faster than I had anticipated! Look at Emma and then picture someone almost 50 years older than that and landing just about in the same position. !!
There is such great climbing here and endless possible hiding places with tunnels connecting and winding and surprising ...

These are great pictures of Kaity-Girl. She is a blast out here.

All of the children are excellent with animals. I think they inherited this from their mom. They are gentle and kind and experience a lot of joy around animals. No fear either.

Kaity going D-O-W-N the tube slide ...

The view from up on top the climbing tower ...

We think this animals might be either a young bison or a miniature bison or something like that. We're not certain because they have mini-donkeys and tiny goats ... so why not a miniature bison?

This place has great signage ...

The goats are a scream ...
 Hi Emma!

The duck races are always fun ...

The jail is fun too. This time we did not do any extended stories of who got arrested and for what.

We did go inside the little gift shop and a few things caught our liking ... the boys got identical wooden sling shots carved up like beautiful eagles. Kaity got a little carved wooden whistle, and Emma got a tiny stuffed cow.
I did not leave them unattended even for one second!
