Emma's School Christmas Play

December 11 was the fifth grade Christmas program at Comstock Park, and since Emma is in the fifth grade, she was IN the program. It was performed in the high school's new auditorium which I found terribly difficult to photograph well ...
Can you find Emma?
She is in the back row, the sixth from the right
The storyline to the play was that a HUGE snowstorm had come during the last day of school, right before the kid's Christmas holiday vacation and everyone was STUCK at school!
Can you find Emma?
She is now in the front (actually on the floor) row
almost right in the middle, bending down
Emma's class sang and performed to the song, "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas." The kids did a nice job of keeping to the rhythm and remembering the words ...
Here is a closer look at Emma ...
The kids on the floor are using their "swords" as
percussion instruments, tapping on the stage floor
After the program, I tried to snap a picture of all of the children together ... this was the best I could do.

I was glad I could come to Emma's program ... for ONCE, it wasn't 1600 miles away! What made the program extra fun was that we DID have a huge snowstorm and the program was nearly cancelled because of it! But thankfully, the plows were able to keep up with the snow, so school happened on Wednesday, and so did their program.
