Another GOLDEN Birthday Boy!

Two months ago, we celebrated the very first GOLDEN birthday of any of the grandchildren (Brendan's 3rd birthday), and today it is Matthew's GOLDEN day! How special! We celebrated three weeks ago because … why not? Golden birthdays should be s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out for as long as possible! And I wasn't sure if I would be able to see Matthew today since it is a Friday night and his family wants him home with them (understandably).

We opened up presents, built LEGOS, ate a special dinner, enjoyed warm moist brownies, and watched Matthew blow out all of his candles! Matthew was especially pleased with his very own Adventure Bible with his name engraved on it. I hope you will always keep God's Word close to your heart so that you will know the awesome God who created you, Matthew, and always follow Him with all of your heart. Happy Birthday, sweetheart.
