May 27 Reception Fun!

Saturday Afternoon/Evening:  With Miss Jen's wedding being at a park, it sure made for a lot of fun at the reception. The lawn was set up with games. There was a bubble machine the kids could carry around with them and go crazy over. There was line dancing AND square dancing. Plus, there was a playground nearer to the lake on the other side of the parking lot! PLUS, there was food--wonderful crescent sandwiches, fruit, chips--very much like a picnic to eat either indoors (in the lodge) or outside on picnic tables or blankets that were laid out on the lawn. Perfect.

Here are a few (!!) pictures:

Erin in her pretty pink swirly dress.

A very nice family shot!
Another one!
This is how ERIN signed the guest book. Good job, Erin--a preschool graduate!
Erin showing me her twirls.

Kaity and Cal ... Kaity was a HUGE help at the wedding reception playing with the kids and keeping track of where they were ...
Kelly and Cal ...
I love these pictures of them!

Yours truly (old, old, old) and Dylan (who somehow always takes a nice picture ... probably because he is naturally nice looking).
I like these of Dylan and Kelly too. They managed to match the wedding colors!

Aidan finally deciding to take a small color book, after protesting there were NO empty pages for him to write a story.
Dylan interacting with Brendan ... precious.

Aidan, contemplating his coloring book and crayons.

I love love LOVE this of Kaity and wee Cal.

Kaity! These cousins of yours love you SO MUCH.
The lodge, for indoor eating.
Wee Cal outside, not one bit interested in the food once he saw there were GAMES to be played ...
He kills me ...

We walked to the far side of the parking lot to put Dylan's birthday card inside ...
Cal decided he wanted me to carry him back across the lawn to where the games were being played. I told him I just couldn't lift him, that I was TOO old (which resulted in the expression on his face, bottom left).

The kiddos all had fun with the bubbles ...

Erin is head-over-heels for her cousin Kaity ...
They danced for a little while ...

I have so many more pictures!
