More fun at the Children's Museum, Sept. 25, 2015

Per a special request (his), Brendan and I returned to the Children's Museum for a little bit of fun after I got out of work. He really badly wanted to do the giant bubble machine again. SO that is what we did.

Brendan is extremely mechanical, plus he is VERY patient. He has one of the longest attention spans of any 3.5 year old that I have ever encountered. He is not easily discouraged or put off and has quite a bit of determination in his little self! All of this combines together to give him a LOT of success in his playtime activities. Look at his sweet little face!
Brendan got into the coal factory with all of his heart and soul ...
He worked and worked and worked ...

And then we went over to the snazzy kitchen area to do some cooking.

We got out lots of pots and pans, but Brendan was a little annoyed there were no bowls. "I need a BOWL, grandma!"
He rode the horse while we waiting for our special meal to cook ...
And then we sat down to our fish and sausage dinner!

We found out, though, that our store stock was LOW on everything. We had to get our orders in!
So Brendan got on the phone and had the most detailed conversation ...
... I love these pictures of this darling boy ...
He is completely and totally serious about this ...

And there is absolutely no one on the line.

I do admit to egging him on a bit with making odd voices and seeing what his response would be. He never disappoints, though, because his imagination is a beautiful one!
