Hill Country Fun

Sabrina lives in the hill country of Texas. I think it is the prettiest part of Texas, except of course for the gulf. Last night their church was having a big potluck/party/baptismal service out on the property of one of their members. We were invited to come along!
There was a ton of food and a whole bunch of nice people to get to visit with and get to know a little better ...
But Jackson was hanging out with the middle school boys playing football. It was really fun to watch how nice these big boys were to include one little four-year-old boy ... and Jackson was SO into it ...

Jackson kicked the ball, ran with it, threw pretty amazing passes, and tackled with the rest of these boys ...
They even consulted him with their game strategy and Jackson had some pretty good ideas about winning the game!
The house was pretty amazing and their property was just beautiful ...
But I think Jackson played football for almost the entire evening ...
27 folk from their congregation were baptized last night. It was beautiful to watch these folk declare their love for God and their commitment to follow Him with all of their heart ...
Karis hung out with Grandpa most of the night, and he made sure she didn't fall in the pool ...
We stayed until the sun set and then drove back home. We were all too tired once we got here to fire up our computers or look at pictures, so we just crashed for awhile until bed time. We were planning for a big day today (Monday) and I have about 100 pictures to post of all the neat stuff we saw and places we went ... so stay tuned ...

Thanks for getting the pictures of Jackson playing football with the big boys. I really do think that our junior high and high school kids are the best teens in the world!
