We've arrived in San Antonio!

We found our way to San Antonio this afternoon without too much trouble and only one wrong turn! Not bad! It was Nathan's 3rd birthday yesterday, so we came bearing gifts!
We brought Nathan some Mega blocks to add to some he already has, as well as playdough and a bunch of fun toys to go with that. We look forward to some good playtime with him in the next few days.
Queenie Nia is walking ... and even running! She is only just a little tentative about all of it. You know ... now and then she just plops down on her little bottom, all of a sudden, and looks around rather shocked. She is darling.
Nia happily carried around a can of playdough in each hand for awhile this afternoon ... she seemed very happy with Nathan's birthday presents!
We went over to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner tonight. They have a very smart setup with a fenced-in play area for children and a nice outside eating deck ... a win/win for parents with extremely active children who are not very interested in sitting down for a meal. Nathan spent most of his time climbing, digging, sliding ... eating just didn't seem to enter his mind.
Here is Nathan doing a little jig in the sand to the loud music that was playing.
Nia sat at the table and enjoyed a pretty large bowl of macoroni and cheese. She is very serious about her food!
Doesn't she have a beautiful little face? After dinner, Grandpa Jones and I came back to our hotel and settled in for the night. We seem to be a bit tuckered out! Hopefully we will get rested up tonight and be ready for a great few days in San Antonio. We'll try to post pictures as we go ...
