A great little farm ...

This is Sweet Berry Farm! We had spent our morning at the Exotic Resort Zoo in Johnson City, and this beautiful farm was less than 20 miles down the road. We were going to come here Wednesday; but we decided that since we were already out and about and the kids were doing so well, we would just visit it this afternoon.
It's a beautiful little place with all kind of nice photo op set-ups for parents and kids. We had a great time running through the kids maze ...
Jackson and Karis both had their own ideas about which direction to take; so we alternated between them ...
This was a perfect-sized maze for preschoolers.
It looked like it might rain this morning, so we brought the rain jackets along for the kids ... we didn't get caught in too much rain, though ... but it was fairly windy and just a little bit cool!
It was fun playing hide-'n-seek with Karis and Jackson ... they kept hiding on us and we pretended to have a very difficult time finding them ...
It was a lot of fun, good exercise, and the kids didn't tire of our game at all!
I loved wandering around in here ... so beautiful ...
Jackson and Grandpa sometimes hid and then jumped out at us girls ... very scary !

There is also a small petting zoo here ... however, after seeing all of those exotic animals we saw this morning, these were pretty tame ...
Is there anything more fun than little kids and animals?
I am totally amazed at this goat sitting in the tree ... but then I actually saw two others scramble up there too!
Here is Mr. Jackson enjoying the wagon-load of pumpkins ...
And Karis was delighted as well ...
There were beautiful wild flowers everywhere ... see the little grasshopper?
I loved being out at this farm today ... everything about it was just perfect.

These happy little faces were the best part of the day!
