We finally have a sleepover!

It had been many months since the kiddos spent the night at the Beach House … but Friday night, November 15, we finally had a sleepover!
It was great to be able to spend a little extra time with the children this weekend. They are NEVER inactive. There is always something going on!
Emma has really enjoyed making potholders with this little loom. She loves to make stuff. I'm going to have to investigate some other looms for her as well. She gets such joy out of activities like this.

I purchased some window markers (that easily wash off) and everyone had a lot of fun making my windows look more interesting ...

We continued studying about Paul's travels from the book of Acts. This week we were in chapter 17 and 18 and learned a lot about how Paul wanted people to know that Jesus was their king! I neglected to take pictures of the kiddo's art work. They colored pictures of Paul preaching, as well as a map of Paul's travels.
We also did a lot of stamp art, origami, and card making this weekend … it was a lot of fun and kept everyone busy.
It was Chris's turn to pick out our Friday night movie, and he chose "Shrek 2" which ended up being a far better movie than I had anticipated. Whew! I actually enjoyed it very much.
