Together now for ten years ...

It's July 8 today. Ten years ago Jesse and Diana got married here in Grand Rapids. I can hardly believe ten years have gone by. Ten years is a long time ... it is 120 months, 3,650 days, 87,600 hours, 525,600 minutes!

For more than six years, they lived right here, close by us. We saw them often; but as I look back now that they are 1600 miles away, not often enough. But that's always the way it is, it seems. We take for granted what we have, don't we? I would give anything to have them close by us again!

Jesse is due for his second deployment before August is over. He will be away for a year. When you are 8000 miles away from your family for one year, that's a really long time. So we will be praying for this dear family of ours, each and every one of them, every single day.
We pray that you will "continue to show deep LOVE for each other, for LOVE covers over a multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4.8). Hoping you anniversary is full of your love for each other ... and God's love for you!
