Monday: So ... today is President's Day and almost all banks and schools are closed for the day. As it turned out, Miss Jen was unable to come over to Dylan and Kelly's today (due to Cal being sick and her husband recovering from a serious illness); so I received an SOS and was able to respond, at least a little bit, to relieve Dylan for four hours so that he could get some work done at home.
I picked Brendan, Aidan, and Erin up from their house at 1:00 in the afternoon and brought them here to play for awhile. Brendan is quite computer competent, so he was exploring a video game site for quite awhile. Erin and Aidan worked on some art projects ...
Here is Aidan in the spare room attempting to choose a game to play ... we ended up playing a game of UNO.
I introduced all of the kids to SUNNY, our Floogle bird ...
Brendan has always loved my puppets. He gets a real charge out of my ridiculous antics with them. He's very good at hand motions and pretending too.
These guys hadn't yet played on PhotoBooth--so we did that for awhile. Erin was cracking up!
The Special Effects are so weird and quite hilarious actually.

Aidan really really REALLY liked my new spirograph kit. All three of them took turns and made interesting pictures.

It was a nice four hours with these three grand kiddos. They are very special people, and I love them to bits.
