Saturday Afternoon: The clouds kept getting darker and closer to where we were ... we kept hoping it wouldn't rain!
Kaity was having so much fun climbing rocks ...
But finally, there it was! It rained SUPER hard too! We ran to the nearest thing we could find to take shelter! See the little tunnel looking object in the right corner of the above picture? Kaity and I crawled inside of it and enjoyed a really sweet time together in the rain. Of course, Kaity kept running out in the rain to enjoy it--but there was considerable thunder, so I told her she had to stay put just in case of lightning strikes.
We didn't see any lightning at all, but it was really fun to hunker down inside our own little place, listen to the rain and the rumbling sounds above us ... it was a beautiful thing!
Kaity folded her hands and asked Jesus to take the rain away ... after all, she wasn't finished playing yet!
The rain DID stop! And out flew Kaity to play for another 20 minutes until the rain returned.
This time, though, we ran to the car and drove back home ...
