Saturday with this cutie

Saturday, September 14:  One of the fall activities we do every single year is to visit Schwallier's over on Alpine. There is no admission fee and there is a lot of fun stuff for kids to do! Kaity brought Baby Lily along--strapped her into her stroller and off we went.
We started with a donut (naturally) ...
Kaity loves it here. There is stuff to climb on, animals to play with ... it was crowded, but we sure had fun.
This tube slide is always a favorite ...

This year, the haystack was much better designed and Kaity played for a long time--up and down, in and out ...

 Kaity in mid-air ...

There was a cute, but tiny, playground area this year too. Kaity (doting mother that she is) took advantage of it for Baby Lily and pushed her in the baby swing, etc. Several families looked on and thought this was so darling ...

Kaity is one little person who gets a lot out of life ... at least this seems to be her personality. I'm super glad for it, too, because her life isn't easy and there are many concerns. She brings me so much joy. Just being with her is ... really good for me.

And Kaity-Girl and her goats ... oh, my.

I love these pictures of Kaity-Girl!

We did spent SOME time at myhouse too. Kaity went right back into her classroom and started ordering her "students" around (i.e. Paco and Lily). Finally, it was playtime, so we colored for awhile--something we never would have been able to do even a year ago. School is super good for Kaity.
I loved going through these lovely pictures of you tonight, Kaity. You have been a real gift from God to me, dear little granddaughter. I am so thankful for you.
