You are a sweetie, Kaity-Jane!

This Monday was the 2nd Monday of the month, so Kaity-Jane and I headed downtown to the Children's Museum! It is NOT open on Monday's except to Members ONLY on the 2nd Monday of the month. Kaity had just gotten out of her bath when I picked her up at noon, so her little hair was rather wet.
Kaity was in high gear from the moment we walked into this place. She played happily at the sand table for quite awhile ...
She ran all over the place and then crawled into this mirrored tunnel ...
She was laughing and climbing and chattering all the while we were there.
When she went to the refrigerator in the little kitchen there, she discovered it was entirely out of food! Yikes. So we went on a food hunt and replenished the entire refrigerator.
We played with lots of different kinds of balls ...
Kaity enjoyed the lighted pegs ...
The bubble machine was quite depleted by the time we got to it and simply refused to make a giant bubble!
We played in the clubhouse too ... and talked to each other on those fancy tubes ...
But then it was time to go to grandma's house ... and off we went!
Kaity helped me do our lunch dishes ... very enthusiastic any time she can put on her very own kid-sized plastic gloves and be my helper ...
And we had a SURPRISE visit from cousin Brendan and Aunt Kelly! I love to watch these two play together and listen to their conversations.
Kaity is getting very good at animating the animals and puppets. Brendan is very good at it too.
I love this sweet little granddaughter. She is precious through and through.
