Time again with Brendan

Monday, July 15:  Finally! Brendan has recovered from a nasty case of the flu, which kept him down and out the entire week last week! I missed him terribly.
I picked Brendan up from his sailing class over in E. Grand Rapids. His sailing partner today was a little girl by the name of Kennedy. The picture above is of Brendan helping one of the instructors fold the sail and put it away.

We drove to Wendy's for our lunch. Brendan isn't quite back to eating a big meal, so he kind of picked around at his hamburger--but they hadn't listened well to our order either and loaded it up with a huge onion, a very fat tomato, and a ton of lettuce. We removed all of that stuff and Brendan ate about half of the hamburger, some of his fries, and a small frosty.

While we were eating, I read Brendan this cute book: "Seven Bad Cats" by Moe Bonneau. Brendan loved it! Such a cute story about a little girl's sailing misadventures and her seven feline friends. I love how Brendan enjoys a good story, listens well, laughs out loud and notices small details in each illustration.
Brendan has swimming lessons later today. I brought him back to his house and switched him out for Aidan, who spent a few hours with me this afternoon.
