July 11 with Emma

Saturday Evening:  Emma and I got to my house at our usual time, after 8PM. We usually talk a good bit, get ready for bed, and then watch a movie. We did that tonight too. It was a tough night because we were struggling with a little bit of anger and a lot of sadness about something that had happened that afternoon, but I won't share that here.

Emma suggested that we watch "My Spy."
Emma and I laugh a lot together--which is a good way to release tension and a helpful way to just put aside things that are troubling us. We really enjoyed this movie and found that we liked most of the people in it--the good guys, that is. There were tons of funny parts and it was well written. Good choice, Emma!
