March 23 with these three kiddos

Tuesday:  These three were up to their usual fun stuff today. We played with just about every toy in my house--again! We read a LOT of books too. We relaxed and built things, chased each other around the house, played word games, drew pictures ... it was a good day.

Erin shared one of her cucumbers with Matey Bird--both Erin AND Matey really like cucumbers.

Erin did some more window decorating with pretty eggs and flowers ...

This whole thing delighted little Erin so much ... I just love to watch her when she is super intense and happy at the same time.

Aidan spent a lot of time in the playroom building things out of Duplos, car tracks and wooden blocks.
Erin came and joined him now and then--but she has learned that Aidan does NOT want his projects messed with ... so she is cautious. Aidan and I (and his parents) talk a lot about sharing ... it will come to him eventually!
We drew animals at the round table for quite a long time today. I'm very thankful for cool art books and a ton of art supplies ...
Look how proud they are of what they drew today! Brendan was busy drawing a BeyBlade battle ...
This green toy that Erin is checking out is new. It's a fidget toy. I'm not sure WHAT is so satisfying about it ... except it IS! It's just a rubber squire with 36 bubbles that can be depressed--which makes a cool noise. You can do patterns and even play games with it. Emma invented one this past Sunday--she won the game and I've already forgotten how to play it! Yikes.
We did watch Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Fransisco and followed another story with Chance, Shadow and Sassy. Brendan LOVES these stories. He loves animals! Kaity loves them too!
Mr. Aidan built himself a very tall magnet tower ... it almost reached as tall as the top of his head!
Matey stayed close by the kids most of the day. He enjoys their company very much.
The weeks sure go by quickly. It doesn't seem that there is 6 days between when I see these kiddos ... but there surely is! I'm thankful they want to come, and I'm thankful for the strength God gives to me for each Tuesday.
