Tuesday Evening: It's hard for me to believe, but it is sadly TRUE, that last night was baby Cal's very first time inside my house! He has been outside of it before--usually in a car ready to pick up one or another of the kiddos--but has never been able to come in and play. Kelly brought pizza and after we had all eaten to our full ... we played!
Cal did a LOT of walking last night. He's still much happier crawling--but we watched, and if he was holding something sizable in his hand, he walked more!
Cal also met Matey-Bird for the very first time. Look at his little face as Matey flies overhead ...
Brendan and Kelly were playing a game of Chess (on the Library tablet).
Callaghan was rather intrigued by our little bird friend. He kept reaching out for him ...
Matey, of course, wasn't going to have anyone touching HIM! But he teased anyway.

Matey had flown overhead and landed right on Callaghan's HEAD!
Matey did this TWICE in quick succession ... hence the face (below). Poor little sweetheart couldn't possibly know that Matey meant him no harm. Look at Matey running away (below).
Everything turned out alright, though. Cal got over it, and had a nice time. Here he is cuddling and laughing with Dylan.
