Reeds Lake and the E. GR Library

Wednesday, September 19:  Baby Aidan had an unexpected outing this afternoon! And what a beautiful afternoon it was!
We walked along the shore of Reeds Lake and watched the ducks for a little while ...
We talked to the flowers and butterflies ...

Went back to the ducks ...

Aidan is a very easily entertained little person ... he was so happy to be near these ducks ...

Aidan is such a nice little baby ...
Everyone who meets him can't help smiling ... he is very friendly and completely social.

It was getting too HOT to stay out in the sun for very long, so we walked over to the library and played with all the cool stuff there. Aidan watched the fish for a very long time and kept saying, "Hi, baby!" to all of them.
He had the train table practically to himself (which he loved) ...

Aidan can be quite a flirt ... he yucked it up with these school girls on the sly for awhile ...

Aidan got to play with all of the toys almost unhindered ...

This table (below) that he is attempting to climb has a mirrored top. Aidan was pleased to SEE himself ... "Hi, baby!"
We read a few books together ...

 AIDAN LOVES BOOKS!
And after library time, we switched out Aidan for Brendan ... Brendan and I hung out at the mall for a little while. Brendan requested some Sbarro's pizza. He couldn't make up his mind between chocolate milk or lemonade ... so he drank both.
We did a little bit of looking around the mall, and then went over to Culver's and got some ice cream. Brendan has a pretty strict bed time (7:30), so we were home in plenty of time for his bedtime routine. He was sad that his time with me didn't include coming over to my house ... we were both sad about that for a little while.
