Spectacular spectacles

Wednesday, May 1:  Here are a few pictures of this DELIGHTFUL child in his brand new spectacular spectacles! Aren't they great?
They are PERFECT for you, Brendan! They fit your personality completely!
I love this precious child. He came over tonight, after a few appointments, and we played for awhile. Brendan is learning a bunch of music from "The Sound of Music" for his school Fine Arts program next Friday, so I put on my CD of the movie and we happily listened to a few numbers that he will be singing.

We also worked on some of Brendan's math homework. Math sure is different nowadays than when I learned it 60 years ago (and it never was my strong subject) ... it seems harder now--more steps--more frustration. What ever happened to just memorizing simple addition problems? Anyway, we got through a few pages of Math problems, ate a bunch of food ... which, by the way, is completely satisfying watching this child devour banana bread, cheese, pasta, strawberries, etc. He is a very good eater! Love you, dear grandson!
