June 13 Two more cards

Sunday afternoon/evening:  These are the two cards Emma and I made for two of her graduating friends. She was thankfully pleased with how they turned out.

Sunflower was the 2021 class flower ...

This is where Emma wrote her message to Carley (with the picture below) ...

This is the back of the card--it is a picture of Carley the day they all went bowling together.

We also made this card for Julia--the twin sister of Krista. Emma is friends with both of these girls. One of them was salutatorian and the other was valedictorian of the 2021 class!

Emma wrote her message to Julia underneath this picture. By the way, Emma communicates really kind stuff in her messages--well written and articulate!

This was the back of the card--another picture from Mackinac Island. Julia and Krista have been there many times.

 

For some crazy reason, it took us FIVE hours to finish these cards. It was a fun few hours, though, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love spending time with Emma. What a great time this is in my life--being a grandma is a wonderful privilege.
