June 26 (night) and 27 with Emma

Saturday Night/Sunday:   After Emma's grad party Saturday afternoon and into the evening, she and I arrived back at the Beach House at around 8PM. Exhaustion set in almost immediately--at least with me! We put some party stuff away and got ready for bed. We have decided to watch the Harry Potter movies together and rented the very first movie tonight: "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". We watched a little more than half of it Saturday night and went to bed at about 11:15. We had some nice chats about our day and went to bed happy and slept well. Church was wonderful, as usual. We came home and ate our lunch, finished watching the Harry Potter movie, and then got started on designing Thank You cards for Emma to use for all of the gifts she received at her party, as well as making a card from Emma for Kaity's birthday.

It was rainy off and on Sunday afternoon, but not too hot--but very humid. We got everything accomplished that was on our "list" of to-do's and ended up running an errand at Meijer's on the way home to Emma's. It was a VERY good weekend. I am exhausted but so thankful for all of the nice moments throughout.
